Root Canal Therapy
Root canal treatment is necessary when the pulp of a baby tooth is decayed or the pulp necrosis is caused by chipping, so that the tooth can be preserved until the tooth is replaced. Because the pulp tissue of both the baby teeth and the permanent teeth is separate, the normal development of the permanent teeth will not be affected even after the root canal treatment of the baby teeth.

Stainless Steel Crown for baby teeth
Baby teeth plays a crucial role to save space naturally for their adult teeth. A crown is used to protect tooth that has significantly decayed or damaged, in hope that the tooth will remain in place until natural tooth replacement. 根管治療
當乳牙蛀到牙髓或因撞擊而造成牙髓組織壞死，就必須做根管治療，才可以繼續保留下來，到換牙為止，因為乳牙、恆牙都有獨立的牙髓組織；所以即使乳牙做了根管治療後，也不會影響恆牙的正常發育。
溝隙封填
為確保更佳的防蛀效果，建議每半年回診一次
口腔後方臼齒區的牙齒的形態與前方牙齒不同，表面細小的紋路較多，不易清潔，容易成為刷牙時的死角，也是蛀牙很容易發生的位置；溝隙封填的目的，就是將這些紋路填平，降低這些牙齒在清潔時的困難度，減少蛀牙的機會。
乳牙不銹鋼冠
乳牙本身即是一種自然，理想的空間維持器，乳牙牙冠治療就是為了保護因齒髓治療而強度減弱的牙齒，希望乳牙能維持到自然換牙時才脫落。有時醫師會在齒髓治療後立即幫小朋友裝上乳牙不鏽鋼冠。裝完前兩、三天牙齦會有些微不適感，通常之後就會適應。裝戴乳牙不鏽鋼冠不會影響換牙，換牙時不鏽鋼冠會連同原本牙冠一起脫落。
空間維持器
當乳牙蛀牙太過嚴重，甚至發炎長膿包，或成為殘根時，兒童牙科醫師為維護下方恆牙的健康，會建議將這些牙齒拔除，但若此時尚未達換牙年齡時，拔牙後可能會造成前後的牙齒往拔牙的空間移動或傾倒，導致恆牙萌發空間過度流失，而需以矯正方式將移位的牙齒推回原位。
